J Com-munity how yall doing.
Well to me it seems like some time since we talk about what J Com is up to as the company and the man.
It’s been a hectic few weeks, with what I would like to call a learning experience. As many know, not all learning experiences are on the positive side. So what has happened, as many may know already, the ladies tee's were suppose to be out and about for purchase and such, but that is not the deal at this moment. We had a mishap in trust, in which we did not receive the right style of shirts that we originally got as a sample, explaining the delay for the ladies tee's. Our learning experience come on that negative note I was telling everyone about, but it will make us take our time to make sure things are perfect for you, the people that matter most.

But, now to more of a positive note, this past weekend came with surprise, and with a crazy party.
On Sat, was a party that i have never been to, but was invited last min. and it was crazy. The party was Mood Music, which in the only party in TO to get at capacity before 12. Yea when i heard that i was like no way, but let me tell you, since i was their, it was RAMMED. But mad love to Spexx, and Future for a party to remember. A lot of beautiful people. So as that went into Sunday, so does my surprise that I got.

I got a call from TONA sat afternoon, him asking for me to get some shirts to him for Sunday, for his video shoot. I was like dope, got him the shirts on sat, and he told me to roll thru at the video, in which, I did. Get to his shoot for FAST PACE, which is a crazy tune (go get that DIRECT DEPOSIT album NOW) and am chilling. And next thing I know I’m in the video. Yup, not just J Com Clothing up in the video, J Com himself is up in that. So everyone keep your eyes open for that video to drop, you know I will be reminding you in the near near future for that.

Now on to the other Talent within TO, I got my man MIKE DARA, just dropped his new track YOU READY. Track has a crazy beat, just listen to his lyricism, and how mind goes mad creative with the wording and metaphors. Also keep an ear out for his mixtape to be dropping in the near future.

What has been going on....

Yes Yes Yes my J Com-munity

Aight, it’s been a busy couple weeks. Which is an amazing thing, not just for our J Com team, but for the people closely riding with us, but also for who??? YOU. J Com couldn’t be where it is right now without the help from everyone who is out supporting us. This is just the begging and we can't wait for the next step, as we hope to have more and more followers are we continue this venture.

Well, now to let you guys in on what’s been going on....

This is a blog that is there to provide everyone with what is going on within the entertainment industry. These guys understand what good and what’s not, hence why J Com is on their site!!!

Next, a little more about J Com, most of the time when you hear about J Com gear, it’s all about the guys tee's and so on. But WAIT. Ladies your time has come, J Com ladies tees will be available JUNE 29th, 2009. Yes in less then 2 weeks, we will have it available on sale ONLINE at http://www.justcompton.com/. With in the time we will be collaborating on a party and have a launch party. First we have out MINI-Launch on June 19th at MOON nightclub, on top of a beautiful patio. We are helping out my man ELEMENT on his Mixtape Release, "If I Was A Woman I'd **** Me Too" that has been long awaited on by many including the J Com Team. There will be J Com merchandise on sale, and we can't guarantee anything, but there might be some lady tee give away, also we may have the exclusive pre-sale of the ladies tees. There will be a wicked line of DJ, doing their thang on the 1's and 2's, as we are out to celebrate the upcoming J Com Girls Tee's. This night is going to an amazing night, as there is no cover for the night. It is in the beautiful Yorkville area, what better way to show the ladies how much we care as to have our night out in this area ;). There will be no selling of Merchandise for this night, as we are just out to celebrate, have a GOOD night.

JAFF: BRING YOUR A-GAME!!!

What’s up Jcom-munity!!!...it’s Jaff checking in. And we here at Jcom are coming off a DOPE 2009 Stylus Awards Weekend. It started with hitting up “Get Famous” Friday at Seven Lounge, with music provided by Valid Point Productions very own Stylus Award Nominee DJ James Redi, and hosted by Tee’s and Fellow Stylus Nominee The Kid Famous.

The festivities were capped off Monday night with the actual awards show and after party...And it was CRAZY...We’ll definitely be updating you on some of the behind the scenes stuff that went on. But I want to get straight to business with this one and bring you some hot new music!!!

One standout moment of the night, among many, was the up and coming Duo, A-GAME...The group consisting of twin brothers Chase and Nova have been on the grind, and are getting a lot of attention from hip-hop heads and industry heads alike. After pushing mad units of their debut EP “The World is Yours” Back-Pack style, people recognized and embraced these fresh new voices. The hunger and determination has paid off for A-Game, as they have now aligned themselves with some of the biggest artists and producers in hip-hop today (Boi-1da, T.minus, Tone Mason etc.). Now with their latest mixtape release entitled “Running on Time”, and their SMASH hit “GO HEAD SHAWTY” blazing up the airwaves locally on Flow 93.5 and around the world, the sky’s the limit for A-Game and it doesn’t look like anyone can cut their wings!!!

I hate to use the played out word "SWAG", so I won’t...and until we’ve found a suitable replacement, all I can say is that these guys have a presence. With a combination of their unique sound and catchy lyrics with substantial content, laced over the tightest production and ridiculous beats...these dudes are carving out a spot for themselves. They really represent what’s going on in T.Dot right now, as far as thinking about music on a global scale...not just trying to make it locally, or to get a joint played on the radio...it’s about taking over and showing where the best music is coming from right now. This is a new era we’re living in, where Toronto artists are just as good as, if not better than anyone in any market, NY, LA, CHI-Town or anywhere else in the world for that matter! And I got a feeling that A-Game is gonna be a big part of that movement for years to come.

So now here’s what y’all been waiting for...A-GAME’s new single “GO HEAD SHAWTY”...Not only is it a crazy song but the video looks AMAZING too! Check it out...when I say this is a SMASH I’m not playing with y’all!!! This is THE T.DOT summer banger...this is that drive slow, windows down, head-knock, middle finger to a hater joint!!! And just to give you a little idea of how big this tune really is...picture the 2009 stylus awards after party...some of the biggest names in Canadian music all in one room...and “GO HEAD SHAWTY” comes on...now when you got a dance floor full of your PEERS going CRAZY for your track...you know you’re doing something right!!!
